: (1) Medals awarded to any person in accordance with this Act and their order of merit shall be as follows:-
(a) Lok Shri Medal.
(b) National Service Medal.
(c) Medal of Honor.
(d) Social Service Medal.
(e) Shiksha Jyoti Medal.
(f) Everest Medal.
(g) Sukirti Medal.
(h) Gallantry Medal.
(i) Gallantry Medal.
(j) Medal for victims of natural calamities.
(k) Development Ratna Medal.
(l) Peace Medal.
(d) Science Proficiency Medal.
(d) Constituent Assembly Election Medal.
(2) While maintaining the order of rank of decorations and medals, the order of rank of decorations will always be higher.
